This is my latest personal illustration where I wanted to create a realistic futuristic city, that looks alive.
The image is based on a photo belonging to http://flickr.com/photos/kesta/, a very good photographer who was nice enough to share her photos on flickr

It was made using digital matte painting technique, with the help of several stock photos.
I was also happy and honored to find out that the image received a master award in the futurescapes category in the upcoming Expose 7.
